Leadership Team

Trevor Bezdek is a Vice President for The Revere Group and is currently the National Practice Leader for the Interactive Practice and is responsible for the development of all solution offerings and consulting delivery in this area. This includes implementation of Internet projects involving Content Management Systems, E-Commerce, Search, and Web 2.0, as well as online strategy development. Prior to joining Revere, Mr. Bezdek co-founded Tryarc LLC, a full service information technology consulting firm specialized in Business Systems and Custom Software Development. Mr. Bezdek helped grow the startup firm to over 100 employees, and served as Managing Partner until Tryarc was acquired in 2007 by The Revere Group. Mr. Bezdek started Tryarc after co-founding and serving as Chief Technology Officer of Biowire (now part of Infotrieve), a provider of online tools and computational biology software to biological researchers. Since that time, he has helped oversee projects for leading global companies, foundations and associations. Mr. Bezdek graduated with honors from Stanford University with degrees in Biological Sciences and Computer Science and the Fox Award for outstanding achievement.

Don Hook is a Vice President with The Revere Group and is the Solution Center Leader for the company’s Open System Practice. He is responsible for all solution offerings and consulting delivery services for custom development and custom applications in the Midwest Region. Don has more than 24 years of enterprise systems experience, most of which has been with IT and Management Consulting organizations. Don’s career has focused on the successful planning, architecture, development and delivery of large-scale, enterprise applications and solutions. He has helped numerous Fortune 500 companies successfully leverage and implement web-based technologies and solutions. Don has spoken at numerous industry events on such topics as Rich Internet Applications (RIA), Enterprise Development, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Application Integration and E-Commerce. Throughout his 10-year tenure with Revere he has made significant contributions in the growth of the Open Systems practice nationally and globally. Prior to joining Revere, Don was an entrepreneur and co-founder of local consulting firm, Cornerstone Consulting, where he was President, responsible sales and marketing, as well as professional services. Previous to his entrepreneurial success Don was a Principal and Manager at Greenbrier & Russel and Price Waterhouse respectively. Don received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Northern Illinois University. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University.

Mel Takata is a Vice President with The Revere Group. Currently he serves as the West Regional Practice Director for Revere’s Open Systems Practice and is involved in developing the managed services offerings for that region. Mel is responsible for delivery of custom development on open source platforms, including Java, PHP and a number of packaged solutions, including Alfresco and Drupal. Mel brings over 25 years experience in IT and software development and has held executive level technology leadership positions at multiple companies, with experience in the financial services industry, internet startups, enterprise business applications, financial services for children, and collaboration technologies for the K-12 education sector. Prior to Revere, Mel held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Digital Insight (now Intuit), a provider of on-line banking applications to financial institutions. Previous to his role at Digital Insight he was the Vice President of Technology at Yodlee.com, an internet startup providing account aggregation and bill payment services to consumers via the web. Mel also held a number of technology positions during a long career at Citigroup, and began his work career as an engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company. Mel received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA.

Creighton Lang is a Vice President with The Revere Group. Creighton leads The Revere Group’s Business Intelligence practice, defining strategy, direction and quality client execution for the firm. Lang has nearly fifteen years of experience as a business and technology consultant specializing in data warehousing and performance management solutions. He has functioned as a project manager, data architect, business analyst, and database developer. He is a frequent speaker at user group conferences and industry events, writes for nationally distributed publications and is a guest lecturer for two MBA courses at Loyola University Chicago. In 2003, he co-founded the “Enterprise Performance Management Center of Excellence”, a lab utilizing resources from Loyola and The Revere Group to develop and demonstrate performance management applications. Prior to joining The Revere Group more than 10 years ago, Creighton worked in the investment banking industry. Creighton received his Bachelor of Science in MIS and Finance from the University of Arizona.

Ken Szczesny is a Vice President with The Revere Group. Currently he is lead architect of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions. Prior to joining The Revere Group, Ken worked at A.C. Nielsen Marketing Research as a Vice President of Advanced Development for Nielsen, where he led their development efforts using advanced technology for a modern two terabyte Data Warehouse built using client/server technology. Ken was responsible for the system architecture, custom software design and construction, system integration, and hardware selection and acquisition. Before joining Nielsen, Ken was Vice President of Research and Development for Information Dimensions Inc. (IDI), which develops, supports and markets award-winning text-oriented Database Management Systems. Ken also held several technical and management positions at Battelle Memorial Institute, which is a world-renowned technical research and development organization headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Ken received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematic from Michigan State University. He received his Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University.

Rick Powers is a Vice President with The Revere Group. Currently Rick is the National Practice Leader for the Lawson Solutions Practice and is responsible for all solution offerings and consulting delivery services related to the Lawson Software product set. In his 11 year tenure with The Revere Group he has held several leadership positions including project manager, principal consultant and regional practice area leader. Prior to joining Revere Rick was a Senior Consultant with Transition Systems Inc. He was also a senior consultant and senior project manager at Medical Information Technologies (MEDITECH). Rick received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.

Brian Schell is a Vice President with The Revere Group. He is currently the National Competency Leader for Oracle E-Business Applications. Brian is the Oracle E-Business Regional Practice Director for the Midwest and leading the sales efforts on a national level for the Oracle E-Business suite of applications. Prior to joining Revere, Brian spent 10 years implementing the Oracle E-Business suite of applications, with emphasis on key integration points of the Oracle Suite. His account management experience is vast, within the software industry as well as the higher education industry where he led sales and contract negotiations for student and financial applications for colleges and universities. He was also responsible for the management of project and implementation teams upon completion of the sale. Brian also worked in the manufacturing and distribution industry where he led the overall design of new facilities for manufacturing plants including the implementation of plant design and software required to streamline manufacturing schedules and warehouse inventory and sales records. Brian received a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Business Administration and Criminology from the University of South Florida. He is also certified as an implementer for Oracle On Demand.

Scott Snider is a Vice President with The Revere Group. He is currently the Midwest Region Oracle I PeopleSoft Practice Director and is responsible for all solution offerings and consulting delivery services within the Oracle I PeopleSoft Solution Center. Over the last 10 years at Revere, he has assisted clients in the development of HCM systems strategies and roadmaps, and has managed Oracle and PeopleSoft implementations and upgrades in various industries including Insurance, Real Estate, Financial Services, and Professional Services. Scott has multi-disciplinary experience in Human Capital Management and Financial Systems, and served Ernst & Young as a Financial Systems Auditor, an Information Systems Auditor, and their Director of Human Capital Management systems before joining Revere. Additionally he is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Managerial Accountant. Scott received a Bachelor of Science degree in both accounting and computer science from Northern Illinois University.

Bob Stephens is a Vice President with The Revere Group an currently is the National Competency Leader of CIS (Cisco Infrastructure Solutions) and SPD (Site Practice Director) of Microsoft Solutions Regional Practice Director of the Microsoft Infrastructure Solutions Team. In this position, Bob manages the Orlando based Infrastructure Solutions Engineers and Consultants and CISCO Network, Security, Wireless and Voice over IP Deployments and Microsoft Server, Virtualization, Storage Solutions, Data Center and Disaster Recovery Solutions. Mr. Stephens has more than 21 years of business and information technology experience with companies such as Computer Sciences Corporation, Encore Systems, BellSouth, and Rotech Medical. Prior to his role with The Revere Group, Mr. Stephens was Vice President and co-founder of Technology Management Solutions, Inc (TMSI), a technology management consulting firm providing outsourced information technology services. In this role, Bob managed all company operational and delivery practices and resources including IT strategic planning, Managed Services, Consulting Services, Project Management, Office Management and all Financial Accounting practices and systems. Bob also served several years as the Project Manager, developer and service support of Lawson Accounting systems at Rotech Medical. He was Project Manager for BAPCO (BellSouth Advertising and Publishing) and BIS (BellSouth Information Systems). Bob received a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer sciences from Emory University, and a Masters of Information Sciences degree from the University of Florida.

Amrit Raj is a Vice President with The Revere Group. Currently Amrit serves as the West Region Chief Services Officer and is responsible for overseeing and managing solution delivery across all practices. Prior to The Revere Group he was a Managing Partner with Tryarc LLC, a full service information technology consulting firm that specializes in Business Systems, Custom Software Development and Process Outsourcing. He was responsible for overseeing the custom solutions practice until Tryarc was acquired in 2007 by The Revere Group. Prior to Tryarc Amrit led the e-Business group of a business division, responsible for initiating, executing and managing technology based business transformation programs at Honeywell Aerospace. Prior to his role at Honeywell he was part of the founding team of Citadon, a startup company providing Internet-based collaboration platform for the heavy engineering industry. Amrit received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from REC Warangal in India. He received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.

Paul Pinto is a Vice President with The Revere Group. He is responsible for the Managed Technology Services and Open Systems practices for the Northeast Region. Paul has over twenty years of experience as an Information Technology leader and professional specializing in business and IT strategy, IT planning, project management, system integration, and data center design, implementation and Operations in Government, Retail and Financial services industry sectors. Prior to The Revere Group, he spent over 18 years at GTECH Corporation, a leading gaming technology and services company, in various Executive IT Leadership roles responsible for all facets of Software and Infrastructure Development, Delivery and Support. Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree from the New England Institute of Technology and Associate Degrees in Computer programming and Business Administration.

Dave Greenwell is a Vice President with The Revere Group and the National Practice Leader for the company’s Insurance Practice. Prior to joining The Revere Group, Dave was a Partner with Ernst & Young’s consulting practice and prior to this he spent ten years with Accenture’s Systems Integration practice. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the management consulting field and is a frequent speaker on the subjects of operational improvement and future trends in the Insurance industry. His expertise includes business process innovation, operations improvement, financial impact analysis, technology planning and large systems projects. Since focusing on the Insurance industry in 1987, Mr. Greenwell has worked with many of the largest Insurers including Allstate, Equitable, State Farm, The Principal, CNA, BCBSI and Lincoln National. Dave has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering Technology from Western Kentucky University and holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Dan Kinsella is a Vice President with The Revere Group and is National Practice Leader for the Healthcare practice. He is responsible for all solution offerings and consulting delivery services to Providers, Payors, Biotech/Life Science and Association clientele. Dan has over 25 years of experience in analyzing, recommending and implementing technology-enabled operational improvements to enhance core business processes with bottom-line results. His experience has been in variety of industries including healthcare, insurance, government and manufacturing/distribution. Dan has developed and implemented strategic information technology plans and is a successful developer of new solutions, new business, recruiter and team leader. Prior to joining The Revere Group Dan spent 6 years at Cap Gemini Consulting (formerly Ernst and Young) where he served as Vice President and Partner in the organization. He was responsible for the career development of 25-40 professionals. Dan actively sold and led numerous projects involving teams of 5 to 45 people addressing Clinical Information Systems, Patient Access/Patient Accounting CRM and ERP. Dan also served as partner ambassador for all campus recruiting at Northwestern University. Prior to his roles at Ernst & Young Dan held the position of Senior Vice President at Bricker and Associates where he served as one of five partners with 40-80 professionals specializing in productivity consulting: process redesign, organization design and technology implementation. Here he engaged, sold and led a variety of client projects in healthcare, managed care, and manufacturing and database marketing with project teams ranging in size from 2-7 people. Dan also developed and refined internal processes for lead generation and practice development as well as a campus and experienced-hire recruiting initiative. Prior to his work at Bricker & Associates he spent 15 years at Andersen Consulting. Dan received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology from Northwestern University. He also holds a Masters in Management in Health Management and Finance from Northwestern University. He is a member of ACHE and HIMSS and is a frequent presenter and author.

Alberto Ruocco is a Vice President with The Revere Group. He is currently the National Practice Area Leader for Revere’s Manufacturing, Distribution and Trade practice. Mr. Ruocco has over twenty-two years of information technology (IT) industry experience as a chief information officer, IT strategy and implementation consultant. He is a past member of the Kellogg Alumni Advisory Board (KAAB) which is a group of prominent Kellogg alumni charged with assisting the graduate school with planning and development strategies. He earned the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). He has also been published in such esteemed publications as the Journal of Business Strategy, Business Management Asia and other leading industry publications. Prior to joining The Revere Group, Alberto was the Vice President for Process Improvement and Information Technology for Kerry Americas, the Americas subsidiary of a $5.5B global food and beverage ingredients company. He also held senior consulting positions with Deloitte Consulting. Alberto is a returning Revere Group alumnus who originally joined revere in 1996. Alberto received a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in Architecture with a minor in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Strategic Planning with a minor in International Business.

Greg Buseman is a Vice President with The Revere Group. He is currently responsible for Business Development for the Midwest region. Throughout his 11 year tenure with The Revere Group, Greg has been responsible for sales leadership, strategic sales alliances and inside sales. Prior to joining The Revere Group in 1997, Greg was a Client Executive for IBM, focused on one of IBM’s top one hundred clients across North America. This was a highly visible role and was key in the transition of IBM to a premier consulting organization. Prior to this role Greg held several marketing and sales leadership positions at IBM, working across several industry sectors. Greg has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University and an Executive Degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

Takanobu [Taka] Chinone is a Vice President seconded from NTT DATA. He is currently resides in Chicago and is the Revere Group’s lead for Business Development engagements with Japanese Multinational Companies [JMNC’s] since 2006. Mr. Chinone has been with NTT DATA since 1989 where he started as an Associate quickly moving to the role of Analyst in 1990 where he assisted in corporate and marketing strategies. In 1994 Mr. Chinone was promoted to Global Business Planner where he assisted with planning and execution of global strategies and projects. From 2000 – 2005 he was a manager planning and executing NTT DATA’s M&A-driven global expansion strategy. In 2006 he was seconded to The Revere Group and promoted to Vice President. Taka received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the English Language Department of Sophia University, Tokyo. He holds an MBA from Kelley School of Business from Indiana University.

Vance Cook is a Vice President with The Revere Group. Currently Vance is responsible for the Business Development engagements and growth for the central and western Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia and Tennessee. Joining The Revere Group in 1997, Vance was instrumental in starting the Charlotte office and growing the Southeast region. His career has specialized in Project and Program Management with over 23 years in the technology industry, including 19 years in consulting. His professional consulting experience has focused primarily in the financial industry, specifically in wealth management and investment services, commercial and retail banking, and insurance. Prior to joining Revere, Vance was a senior manager for over eight years with Broadway & Seymour, a financial services product and consulting firm, now part of Fidelity National Information Services. Vance has previously served on the University of North Carolina – Charlotte – College of IT, Advisory Board and has been selected to serve on the Advisory Board for Johnson C. Smith University – Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering. Vance is an active member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce – Information Technology Council and Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals. Vance received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Western Carolina University.

Steve Dudley is a Vice President with The Revere Group. Currently Steve is responsible for the Revere Group’s Sales and Business Development for The Revere Group’s Southeast Region. He oversees the Business Development team in emerging markets, and is responsible for overall revenue growth. Steve currently serves as the Client Partner for several strategic accounts throughout the Southeast in addition to his role of managing the Business Development team. Prior to joining Revere Steve served as the Vice President of Sales of Norstan Consulting. Previous to his role at Norstan, Steve spent 11 years in a number of capacities with Sprint, the telecommunications. During his tenure there, he held positions in Operations Management, Marketing, Sales, and Sales Management. Steve concluded his role at Sprint as the General Manager of Sales and Operations for Business Markets in the Central Florida region. His responsibilities included overseeing the sale and delivery of technology infrastructure solutions including local area, wide area networking, telecommunications, and call center solutions. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University. He is also accredited with completion the Executive Management program at the Crummer Graduate School of Business, Rollins College.

Tim Kocher is a Vice President at The Revere Group with responsibility for National Business Development and Marketing Operations. Tim has over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing with an emphasis in technology professional services. A proven leader of large sales teams, he has significant experience in sales and marketing process, methodologies, and supporting technologies. Prior to joining The Revere Group in 2007, Mr. Kocher served as Vice President of Sales at WHITTMANHART, a privately held Chicago-based Consulting Firm where he rose to a leadership role over a 4-year career from 2003 to 2007. He also held positions at CIBER, a publicly held Colorado-based consulting firm from 2002-2003, where he learned the unique operations of a publicly traded firm. Tim is a returning Revere Group alumnus who originally joined revere in 1998. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications.

Greg Verbosky is a Vice President at The Revere Group with responsibility for Business Development for Revere’s West Coast locations. Greg has over 25 years experience in information technology working with corporations and consulting companies. He possesses extensive sales and implementation knowledge ranging from mainframe to the most current web based applications. Prior to joining Revere, Greg was with Tryarc LLC, a full service information technology consulting firm specialized in Business Systems and Custom Software Development. He has also held senior executive positions with SAIC, First Consulting Group, McKesson and a number of Safeguard Scientific portfolio companies. Greg also co-founded a number of startups including a Southern California based consulting company that grew rapidly and was acquired by a large VAR. He is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
